Rajat completed his studies at Drew University for a BA in Economics and Political Science after attending International School Manila from 1982 to 1986 as a dedicated collector of experiences (1986-1990).

The independence of free thought comes with broadening educational horizons. This motivated him to extend his study at the esteemed Harvard Business School and Business School of Lausanne (BSL).

Rajat has successfully created and run SAIVANA with strong ethos and principles. Saivana has always made a positive impact on social and environmental issues since it is a responsible and purpose-driven enterprise. Making Saivana the nation's first apparel exporter to attain carbon neutrality was one of several efforts made as part of Rajat Sikka's environmental endeavours. Given that the fashion sector is one of the top 4 most polluting industries, this represents a significant advancement for an Indian exporter in the field of fashion manufacture.

Rajat may be seen spending his free time practising on the golf field. In line with Ben Hogan's adage, "The most important shot in golf is the next one," Rajat Sikka counsels his mentees to take risks less often and learn from their mistakes.

Rajat Sikka is a marketing expert and has excellent man-management skills. Having experienced the struggles of entrepreneurship, Rajat is a source of advice and guidance to young entrepreneurs.

He is an avid angel investor in numerous start-ups and loves mentoring young people to achieve their dreams. Rajat can be found on the golf course, trying to perfect his game in his spare time.
